The Spyder Cup has been held in Tower Hamlets. This was a multi-racial golf event staged right in the middle of inner-city London (8th May). A group of 16-18 year-olds played the ‘Spyder’ version of the Ryder Cup, adopting many of the sporting attributes of that famous match.
A unique disability coaching programme is approaching its conclusion in Rutland in the East Midlands, inspiring the young golfers concerned and their coach.

Boys and girls from six Wirral Special Schools have been learning all about a new sport and have enjoyed coaching at the golf club thanks to Golf Foundation discretionary funding.
Members of Glyn Abbey Golf Club in Wales have always taken pride in welcoming new players. It is no surprise that the club has recently been working wonders in encouraging young golfers with disabilities.
